2008 SUZUKI GSX R1000 HP curiosity

Man, my brother just snagged a 2008 Suzuki GSX R1000, and this thing is an absolute beast!

It's got about 15K miles on it, and it came with a bunch of upgrades: a Yoshi Pro ECU, a Woolich custom tune, quickshifter, launch control, pit lane limiter, valves blocked, and a Two Brothers Black Series exhaust.

We're pretty new to these big sport bikes, and he bought it as is. We're both wondering what kind of horsepower numbers a setup like that would even put down.

It's already ridiculously fast for the road, lol.

Any ideas on what kind of HP figures we're looking at with all those mods?

That's a nice list of electronics but the real power comes from the full exhaust and custom tune. A well-tuned K8 with that setup should be putting down 175-180 hp at the rear wheel. Did the seller provide a dynamometer printout that shows the final horsepower and air-fuel ratio?

Most of those mods barely add real horsepower. Tuners love hyping numbers, but unless there's serious engine work, you're likely still under 190 at the wheel, the bike just feels faster because it's louder and sharper.
