Question about rear suspension

I have occasional track days with my bike and I am thinking of adjusting the suspension sag. I am about 170lbs and the rear preload is maxed out and I'm still getting 42mm sag. I was hoping for 32mm rear and 37mm front, but now thinking maybe I should just match the front to the rear around 42/45mm. What do you all think?

Im guessing the spring's too soft. Matching the front to that might help balance it for now, but if youre doing track days, you'll get better performance with a stiffer rear spring to hit that 32mm target.

I ran into a similar problem with my old R6. I had the preload maxed out, but it was still sagging too much. For a bit, I tried adjusting both ends to 42mm, which improved the feel a little. However, when I switched to a stiffer rear spring, the difference on the track was like night and day. It felt so much more stable in the corners.

If you're maxed on preload and still sitting at 42mm, your spring's too soft and matching the front to bad rear sag just compounds the issue. Get the right spring, not a workaround
